Welcome to SoundPathways, an immersive 12-week program that blends the excitement of music with essential career-building skills designed for success across industries. Through engaging weekly virtual sessions and two hands-on in-person field trips, students will explore the inner workings of the music business, from project management and AI-driven music production to songwriting and live event planning.

Business: Learn about marketing, management, and operations within the music industry.
Technology: Explore the intersection of music and technology through roles in production, data analysis, web, and more; including introduction to AI and web3.
Eligibility: Open to Atlanta Metro area High School students interested in creative careers, especially in music.
What You Will Learn
Technical Skills: Gain proficiency with a variety of state-of-the-art software and apps across different roles, from project management tools like Trello to creative technologies such as ChatGPT, Canva and Adobe Express, and specialized music tuning software for producers.
Business Acumen: Insights into the music business, including contract negotiation and artist management.
Creative Development: Learn the fundamentals of nurturing creative talent, including insights into the development process and practical demonstrations tailored for aspiring artists and industry professionals.

Does the program require any costs to parents and students?
There are no costs to participate. However, there is an attendance and grades requirement to participate.
What are the attendance requirements?
Students that miss 3 sessions and do not complete internship tasks will be dismissed from the program.
Students that miss more than 5 days of school will be dismissed from the program.
What are the grade requirements?
Students must have a passing grade of 2.0 or better within 9 weeks of starting our program.
Where are meetings held?
Weekly meetings are held virtually! However, there are 6 in-person meetings for field trips or end of year performance planning.
Will students have to have their own devices to participate?
ACFF will provide the technology required for our internship program.
What time will meetings be held?
Weekly meetings will be held at 6pm, one day a week with instructors.
Students are expected to connect virtually to collaborate on tasks between virtual meetings with instructors.
Field trips and planning meetings will be scheduled according to the schedule of the venue we are visiting.
